Hello everyone! If you're reading this right now, I either haven't posted another journal yet, or you're interested in commissioning one of the TWO artists contributing to C-B-Adopts. Or both maybe, I don't know.
You may choose between a line art or a full color piece
Line art: Approximately $8 USD, 800 depending on detail and overall level of difficulty.
Full Color: Approximately $15 USD 1500, again, depending on detail and overall level of difficulty.
Unfortunately, There are no examples to be shown at this time. We're fairly new on DA, so there's not much to show yet. Though, here are some examples from the gallery, just to give an idea of the artwork you'll get.
Art by FluffyCookies:
How this works:
Note us. In the note, please include:
Any available reference images OR a detailed description of the subject, such as what your OC looks like. If you can only provide a description, please also try to include any images that may help us visualize what you're asking. For example, if you know you're character should wear clothes from a specific period, look online for something close to what you have in mind. Anything will help.
Any description you may have in mind for what the subject should be doing. This includes poses, angles, lighting, and anything else we couldn't assume from the reference image.
Any preferences you may have as to who of the two artist will work on it. Choose either FluffyCookies (better at animals and cutesy cartoony art) Or SilverWind (Better at people and cool semi-realistic art.) If you don't specify an artist, we will choose who is better suited for the commission.
Please keep in mind, the artist you request may not be confident or capable of drawing what you ask, so we may ask you to consider letting the other artist handle your commission. Just like us, you reserve the right to say no.
Please do not send notes like "Can I commission you?" or "are commissions open?" They kind of a waste of time, as we'll just ask you to do the above. Simply tell us what you have in mind, and we'll tell you if we can do it or not. Don't be shy, we don't bite or anything.
We'll send you a reply. We'll have done a basic sketch based on what you sent us, and we'll tell you the price we have in mind.
If the basic sketch is not to your liking, tell us what you want changed, and we will draw one more version of the basic sketch to show you. If you decide you don't like either of them, and want us to continue trying, we will charge a fee for each additional sketch, which you'll need to pay in advance.
Once you've given us the go ahead for the basic sketch, we'll begin work on the finished project.
Once we've done the base colors, we'll show you once more and give you an estimation of how long it will take us to finish it. At this point, we'll ask for the payment we agreed upon, to be paid in full before we continue finishing the art. Once the commission is finished, we will post the watermarked version, and send you a link to the un-watermarked version in our st.ash, along with a little extra something, for being so cool.
Some rules to keep in mind:
We will not draw pornographic images. If for whatever reason your character MUST be nude, we'll work with you to see if we can't tastefully cover it somehow. (we'd rather not have Paypal drop us, you know?)
Don't be a jerk. We'll do our best, and you have up until we show you the base colors to decide against buying. We're not saying you have to talk to us like kings, but if you're outright rude, we will stop responding. Common courtesy, that sort of thing.
No refunds. We take the time to draw it, we deserve compensation, even if it may not be up to your standards. Thanks for understanding.
A bit about the artists:
FluffyCookies: I'm better at drawing cute, stylized things. I can draw animals, people, and chibis of both. I am a failure at mechanical subjects. I can do simple perspective.
I specialize at emulating the styles of Invader Zim and Adventure Time, FYI.
SilverWind: I draw in a semi- realistic anime style, but dabble in more kawaii styles as well. I cannot draw animals, and I can only draw simple perspective. I can try to emulate a particular style if requested, but no promises on perfection.
